It’s an obvious fact we love utilizing plants in our decorating. We convey that love by incorporating them as a significant piece of the stylistic layout plan. Plants provide numerous benefits other thansupplying limitless oxygen:
They act as air filters: Plants improve the air quality by acting as natural filters, decreasing the dust in the air thereby helping us to breathe better.
They help by improving our mental health:According to studies, plants help tremendously in improving our anxiety and stress levels by making us feel calmer, more relaxed and reducing blood pressure.
They increase productivity: Plants help boost our mood by increasing our sense of well-being. They make us stay more focusedand improve our creativity.
They alsosoften the indoor look by adding a living green layer to your interior spaces.
All things considered, we spend most of our day at work sitting in our work areas. So, it is important to keep our leafy friends close by.
We consider a couple of things prior to picking plants for a customer’s home or workspace:
1. Analyse the overall impact on the space– As a first step in our design, we look at the space from different perspectives and understand its strong and weak points, find the spots that can be brightened by plants.
2. Choose the Style: Once we have narrowed down the spots where we would like to place the plants, we decide on the size of the plants. Generally speaking, large plants make a statement, whereas small plants fit beautifully into any space. We then look at the shape, texture, and colour of the plants in order to derive maximum impact in our design.
3. Determine the light: While choosing a spot for the plant,it is extremely critical to check the light levels in the space in order to maintain healthy plants. We also need to determine the maintenance and care for the plants and try and match the same with the client’s requirements.
4. Focus on the containers: We ensure that all plants are potted in planters that match the design just like a piece of furniture.
Decorating any space with plants is exceptionally simple. Since plants are extremely flexible, they can be put at any corner and territory or space. Here are a few thoughts on the most proficient methods to incorporate plants into any design:
• As a welcome piece: Using a plant or any greenery at the entrance is a sure way to set the welcoming mood. Not only do they add vibrancy to the décor, they also purify and sanitize the air.
• Fillers for empty corners in a room: Sometimes a piece of furniture will not fit into a certain space or corner. We like to place a plant therein order to fill the space rather than leaving it empty and making our designs look incomplete.
• Hang plants in small spaces: In case the room has limited floor space that cannot be sacrificed to a plant, we generally opt for hanging a plant in order to brighten the room. It is a great way of adding greenery in a room and raising the focal point to make the room look more dynamic.
• Go big and bold: For a grandiose look, incorporate a living wall in your space. It creates harmony and brings character to your room. Sometimes it is a perfect fit for a bare wall.
• Display it as a centre stage: One can use it as a visual impact to bring spotlight into the room. Since centrepieces are important to any décor, using an appropriate plant is an ideal way to would bring focus to it.
Our designs are not complete unless the plants are placed in the right spots that help the room to come alive!
